1. Main Function of the Role

The Sales Advisor will uphold high standards in providing Sanlam products and services to clients in a professional and ethical manner. The role focuses on achieving and maintaining monthly sales targets while ensuring client satisfaction through tailored financial solutions. The incumbent will also participate in ongoing internal and external training programs to enhance their skills and knowledge.

 

2. Key Performance Areas

  • Achieve and maintain monthly sales targets, ensuring both quality and quantity.
  • Deliver affordable and suitable financial products tailored to individual client needs.
  • Provide accurate and trustworthy financial advice.
  • Fulfill all administrative responsibilities in compliance with company standards.
  • Build and nurture positive relationships with clients.
  • Stay informed and knowledgeable about Sanlam’s product offerings.

 

3. Qualifications and Experience

  • Educational Requirements:
    • Grade 12 (minimum 15 points) with English and Mathematics (or a related business subject).
    • A tertiary qualification from an NQF-recognized institution is an advantage.
  • Experience:
    • At least 3 years of work experience, preferably in the financial services sector. Relevant roles include Sales, Customer Service, or Marketing. Experience in Teaching or Policing is also considered.
  • Additional Requirements:
    • Must be fluent in written and spoken English. Proficiency in local languages is an advantage.
    • Must be MS Office proficient and capable of delivering presentations.
    • Clean ITC and FIC records.
    • Must be 25 years or older.
