Forecourt Attendant – ExpressMark Riverside  Windhoek

1. Main Function of the Role

The Forecourt Attendant is responsible for ensuring efficient and accurate completion of tasks while providing excellent customer service. The role focuses on maintaining the forecourt's cleanliness, adhering to safety and security protocols, and ensuring customer satisfaction during fuel payment transactions.

 

2. Key Performance Areas

  • Customer Service:
    • Provide friendly, efficient, and helpful service to all customers.
    • Serve as the main point of contact for processing fuel payments.
  • Forecourt Maintenance:
    • Maintain the forecourt's general appearance by ensuring pumps and surrounding areas are clean and presentable at all times.
  • Health and Safety Compliance:
    • Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Security Measures:
    • Follow established security protocols to protect company assets and customer safety.
  • General Duties:
    • Perform additional tasks that align with the responsibilities of a Forecourt Attendant, as required by management.

 

3. Qualifications and Experience

  • Valid Grade 10/12 certificate with a minimum of 23 points.
  • 1–2 years of relevant work experience in a customer-facing or operational role.
  • Proven computer literacy skills.

 

4. Skills and Attributes

  • Language Proficiency:
    • Excellent command of written and spoken English and Afrikaans.
  • Personal Attributes:
    • Friendly disposition and exceptional communication skills.
    • Reliable, accurate, and dependable.
    • Strong attention to detail.
    • Ability to work under pressure and handle challenging situations calmly.
  • Work Flexibility:
    • Willingness to work overtime and shifts as required by the business.
  • Citizenship Requirement:
    • Must be a Namibian citizen.
