Diagnostic Technician - Toyota Oshakati  Oshakati

1. Main Function of the Role

The primary purpose of the role is to perform advanced diagnostics, maintenance, and repair of vehicles while ensuring exceptional customer care. The role requires adherence to Toyota's "Fix It Right" procedures and up-to-date knowledge of the latest technology and trends. Additionally, the incumbent will train technical staff, collaborate with Service Advisors and the technical team, and contribute to achieving customer experience (CE) targets.

2. Key Performance Areas

  • Conduct comprehensive diagnostics and repair work.
  • Provide excellent customer care and assist customers as needed.
  • Accurately complete job cards and prepare detailed reports.
  • Collaborate with Service Advisors and the Technical Team to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Stay updated on Toyota’s latest technologies, systems, and trends.
  • Ensure compliance with “Fix It Right” procedures.
  • Achieve and maintain Customer Experience (CE) targets.
  • Train and mentor technical staff to enhance their skills and performance.

3. Qualifications and Experience

  • Grade 12 Certificate.
  • Qualified Level 3 Technician.
  • Certification in Diagnostics; Master Technician Certification is advantageous.
  • Namibian Citizenship.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Proficiency in computer systems; knowledge of V10 is an advantage.
  • A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience as a qualified Technician.
  • Fluency in English and Afrikaans.
  • Sound understanding of the technical and administrative aspects of the motor and service industry.
