Salesperson - Gardening  Windhoek

1. Main Function of the Role

The Salesperson - Gardening will be responsible for driving sales to ensure that budget targets are met or exceeded, enhancing profitability. The role requires providing exceptional customer service, advising customers on suitable gardening products, and ensuring proper plant care and maintenance.

 

2. Key Performance Areas

  • Sales Promotion: Achieve sales targets by promoting gardening products effectively.
  • Customer Service: Deliver excellent customer service to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Product Consultation: Creatively and professionally advise customers on the best gardening solutions tailored to their needs.
  • Plant Care and Maintenance: Ensure proper upkeep of plants, demonstrating expertise in plant health and gardening techniques.

 

3. Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum Grade 11 (New Curriculum) or Grade 12 (NSSC-O) with 22 marks.
  • At least 2 years of sales experience in the retail or nursery industry.
  • Knowledge of the Kerridge computer system is advantageous.
  • Good product knowledge of landscaping is beneficial.
