Purpose

The incumbent will facilitate the sales of the Company’s Lighting range. The focus is to deliver expert advice, guidance, and support to customers while surpassing their expectations and commitments to provide an exceptional customer service, to achieve sales targets and drive profits. Additionally, the sales consultant will identify potential opportunities and niches in the market which businesses can leverage to grow their customer base and increase revenue streams.

 

Requirements

  • Grade 12.
  • Code B Driver’s license.
  • Trade Diploma would serve as an added advantage.
  • Two (2) years’ experience in an Electrical & Lighting environment.
  • Retail experience would serve as an added advantage.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite.

 

Key Result Areas

  • Manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously, ensuring efficient coordination and timely delivery of products.
  • Actively take ownership of revenue targets by consistently achieving and surpassing sales targets.
  • Support clients with their sale/special orders whilst analysing requirements recommended product solutions and provide quotations with accurate costing.
  • Drive sales growth by proactively identifying new business opportunities, cultivating leads, and expanding the client base through effective relationship-building and sales techniques.
  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring their ongoing satisfaction with our brand.
  • Actively manage client accounts by ensuring timely payment are made.
  • Ensure displays and in good order and report any damage to the display or the light on display immediately.
  • Monitor movement of display lights to move cross-refencing numbers on shelves as well.
  • Monthly stock counts on lights and display.
  • Assist the merchandising team with bulbs and lighting shelves when required.
  • Marketing Support.
  • Participate in bi-annual stock stocks.
