Admin Clerk – Agrimark Gochas

1. Main Function of the Role

The primary purpose of the Admin Clerk is to manage and oversee all administrative functions of the branch. This includes processing goods received, finalizing direct orders, managing claims, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and maintaining a professional and organized environment.

2. Key Performance Areas

a. Administrative Management

  • Finalize the receiving process for supplier delivery notes.
  • Handle the invoicing of direct orders efficiently.
  • Process and manage claims for faulty or damaged stock from suppliers.
  • Reconcile supplier credits against claims submitted.

b. Financial Controls

  • Oversee and finalize daily banking processes.
  • Manage and control petty cash transactions and records.
  • Balance nominal accounts through report control and reconciliation.

c. Inventory and Stock Management

  • Control and correct stock take statistics to ensure accuracy.
  • Process and file all finalized and grouped invoices systematically.

d. Office and Pay Point Maintenance

  • Maintain a neat, tidy, and professional environment in all offices and pay points of the branch.

3. Qualifications and Experience

  • Educational Qualifications:
    • Valid Grade 12 certificate with at least 23 points.
  • Professional Experience:
    • 2–3 years of experience in a retail environment.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in computer systems and software.
    • Familiarity with retail administrative processes.
