What will you do?
The successful candidate will be required to efficiently and effectively administer all New Business submitted, client after care admin requests. Whilst doing effective record keeping of submitted, accepted, returned and declined new business and admin. Providing timely and professional feedback to intermediaries or within the department.
What will make you successful in this role?
- Quote and application and supporting documentation uploads
- Identify and request any outstanding requirements from intermediaries/clients
- Scanning and uploading of requirements received when requested
- File creation and preparation for clients Arrange for medicals
- Effective client service to stakeholders
- Portfolio reviews
- Requesting tax and contribution certificates
- Accurate and timely investigations and feedback to intermediary and stakeholder queries
- Proactive lapse management
- Professional and well-structured communication of requirements and follow ups
- Policy maintenance
- Prepare quotation alterations and upload supporting documentation
- Identify and request any outstanding requirements from intermediaries and internal staff
- Submit maintenance alteration requests on policies
- Prepare import excel sheets for scheme retirement policy increase
- Draw portfolio slip for all completed requests
- Excellent administrative skills
- Proper record keeping Identification of problems
- Identify any process gaps or where it can be improved
- Quote packages: Sanquote /Office Quote
- Verification of data captured versus documentation submitted
- Identify and request any outstanding
- FIA source documentation for entities
- Report any discrepancies picked up to management and the compliance department
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum grade 12
- Diploma in Business Administration will be an advantage
- Minimum of 3 years working experience in Insurance industry, New Business and Admin environment
Knowledge and Skills:
- Excellent English (verbal & written) language skills
- One Local Namibian language will be a competitive advantage.
- Good product and system knowledge will be an advantage
- Knowledge of Sanlam’s support services and administration processes
- Intermediate administration, recording keeping and data management
- Basic Mathematics calculations will be required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Company’s software, TE, Sanport, Sanfin

Turnaround time:
