ASLA Construction, a leading company in the Civil Engineering industry that promotes equal opportunities, currently seeks an appropriately qualified Quantity Surveyor in Civil Construction in the Western Cape region.

 

Requirements for this position:

• Appropriate degree or national diploma
• At least 3 years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor in a civil construction company.
• Experience in investigating and reporting on costing discrepancies as well as compiling monthly payment certificates.
• A good working knowledge of MS Excel, CCS, Model Maker and the ability to learn how to use specialist software.
• A good working knowledge of SANS 1200.
• Attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
• Knowledge of Civil Engineering conditions of contract (GCC and NEC).
• Driver’s license.
• Strong communication / negation skills.
• Competent in compiling written reports.
• Ability to work independently and to comply with timelines.
