The Stock Controller reports to the Branch Manager and is responsible for managing stock within the Demand Chain by ensuring accurate inventory records, efficient receiving and dispatching, timely stock movement, proper stock levels, warehouse organization, and compliance with company procedures.

Key responsibilities include:
β’ Stock receiving, dispatching, recording, and tracking
β’ Stock counts, records, and discrepancy resolution
β’ Stock rotation and material availability
β’ Reporting
β’ Warehouse housekeeping and safety
β’ Department coordination
β’ Breakages, claims, stock issues, and project stock
β’ Compliance with policies, SOPs, and Health & Safety requirements

Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills Required:
β’ A valid grade 12 (with at least 23 points)
β’ A two-year relevant tertiary education would be an advantage
β’ At least 2-3 years experience in an agriculture, commerce, wholesale, or retail environment
β’ Specific knowledge of farming equipment and agricultural products
β’ Knowledge and understanding of the needs of agricultural producers
β’ Exposure to - and experience with working on the AgriSMART system would be an advantage
β’ Good presentation and interpersonal skills
β’ Proven computer skills with an excellent command of written and spoken English and Afrikaans
β’ Attention to detail, a reliable and accurate person
β’ Familiarity with inventory management systems
β’ Namibian citizenship with a friendly disposition and ability to function well under pressure
