Financial System Analyst

Poultry Divisional Office 

The ideal candidate would be assisting the Divisional Financial Manager in:

• Support of the financial business systems together with the Information Systems (IS) Team in Infor®LN, Astral Farms Systems, Infor®dEPM, Innova, Finnivo and relevant other systems.
• Daily validation of data for the account mapping, monthly reporting and reconciliations between systems.
• Management of business vault processes in conjunction with the information systems team.
• Completion of any calls from the helpdesk relating to Business Support;
• Involvement in specifications for any new developments, reports in conjunction with the IS team;
• Liaison with the relevant suppliers on new developments, projects and reports;
• Review internal control processes relating to financial systems and identify any improvements required;
• Report to the Poultry Management team on any concerns or updates;
• Support Implementation of new financial systems when required;
• Any other items that might be required.

The successful candidate must meet the following requirements:

• B. Com Information Systems degree or similar degree;
• Advanced knowledge in the use of financial software applications, databases, spreadsheets;
• Experience in the Poultry Industry or FMCG will be advantageous;
• Must be able to work well with members outside of their own team;
• Must have experience in working within a financial systems environment.
• Assertive and motivated. Be able to work on your own.
• Converse fluently in both English and Afrikaans;
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, as well as problem solving and planning skills are required;
• Must be able to travel when required and have own drivers’ licence.
