Role purpose:

To support the Marketing Team in daily functions with a focus on managing administrative responsibility related to branding and marketing activities. It includes handling aspects of internal marketing, promotional material, arranging in-store demonstrations, website maintenance, social media content management, design management, agency management, and classic marketing activities. This person will assist the Marketing Manager in driving all brand communication functions.

Qualifications:

  • A relevant degree or diploma in Marketing or similar (i.e. B.Com Marketing Management) 

Experience:

  • A Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Marketing role
  • FMCG Experience (Advantage) 

Responsibilities:

Brand Strategy:

  • To implement the brand strategy in line with the business vision to enhance brand positioning within the market.
  • To manage the brand identity in line with brand and company values
  • To maintain brand architecture
  • Agency project briefs

Social Media:

  • Website and social media management
  • Internal communication   
  • Employee value proposition

Market Campaigns & Communication:

  • Execute and deliver on marketing campaigns to promote brand awareness within the market
  • Assist with key activations (In-store promotions, trade activities, customer events)

Market & Competitive Analysis:

  • Conducting market research and analysing consumer insights to identify opportunities and challenges in the market
  • Monitoring competitor activities and industry trends to adjust brand strategies accordingly and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Monthly tracking of advertising and reporting

New Product Development:

  • Assist NPD in the development of new product packaging & update of existing artwork
  • Assist in the execution of new product launches
