Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Project Management/ Social Sciences or an equivalent qualification (NQF 7)
  • A post-graduate qualification will be an advantage
  • A minimum of 3-5 years experience in Project Management
  • Preference will be given to applicants with experience within the HRDC environment

  • Stakeholder management and ability to successfully manage a wide network of relationship

  • Knowledge and understanding of Government principles

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare project initiation and project governance documents
  • Perform effective project planning through the utilization of the accepted project management tools and methodologies
  • Exercise prudent budget management, control and monitoring when implementing projects.
  • Implement and manage HRDC project
  • Liaise and manage relationships with key stakeholders
  • Coordinate with other HRDC Secretariat programmes towards successful implementation of HRD Strategy
  • Monitor the implementation of the work of HRDC
  • Support research processes related to the work of the HRDC and ensure that the results of this research are fed into the relevant forums and to parties that may need to take up issues emerging from the research
  • Provide strategic and administrative support to the HRDC and its structures as and when required
  • Prepare, submit and present project status/progress reports to the various HRDC structures
  • Oversee and manage Project Administrator
