Engineering Stores Driver  Johannesburg

Festive, one of South Africa's leading integrated poultry producers within the Astral Group, is looking for a Driver in their engineering stores commercial division. The role will be to safely transport goods to designated locations while maintaining the company vehicle and following all traffic laws.
 
The ideal candidate would be responsible for:
  • Responsible for Company vehicle.
  • Servicing all routes designated to the vehicle.
  • Basic administration duties.
  • Maintaining the vehicle in the condition specified in the Astral policy manual.
  • Maintaining and adhering to the 20 keys principles including Health & Safety of the Department.
  • Delivering samples of Farms to the labs.
  •  Arranging regular cleaning and maintenance services for Company vehicle(s)
The successful candidate must meet the following requirements:
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in driving.
  • Code 08 driver’s license is a strict requirement.
  •  Must have knowledge of all areas in the Gauteng.
  • Ability to communicate and liaise at all levels.
  • Must be willing to work overtime, weekends and public holidays as required.
  •  Must have excellent communication, problem solving and planning skills.
  • Must be fluent in English and a second official language.
 SKILLS REQUIRED:
  • Passion for implementing and participating in 20 Keys and continuous improvement programs.
  • Be a highly motivated individual who can assist other employees and interact well with present and promote your department to the highest standard.
  • Diligent, hardworking, deadline-driven, and work within a high pace pressure environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
