Logistics Manager

Agriculture Central Region: Olifantsfontein

The ideal candidate would be responsible for:

• Management of the Cold Store Warehouse and Distribution department while maintaining and increasing Efficiency and Quality.
• Managing Monthly expenses and budget for the department.
• Management of a large diverse workforce.
• Managing the Factory Shop

The successful candidate must meet the following requirements:

• Must have a relevant qualification in the management of Cold Stores and Logistics.
• At least 5 years’ management experience.
• Preferable Production to Warehouse experience.
• Must have good management, communication and interpersonal skills, as well as problem solving and planning skills.
• Experience on LN would be an advantage.
• Create, maintain and report professionally on the Logistical department workings.
• Must be computer literate and a sound knowledge of Logistical and Warehouse software.
• It is essential that the candidate have a passion for 20 keys and the implementation.
• Must be prepared to work weekends and afterhours when required.
• A tertiary qualification together with experience in FMCG environment would be an added advantage.
