The ideal candidate would be responsible for:

• Managing the entire floor activities in the Processing Plant.
• Responsible for the day to day routine inspections.
• Produce products according to the Weekly Production Plan.
• Managing of Supervisors and their daily tasks.
• Responsible for reaching daily targets on production lines as per plan.
• Responsible for yield, give away and efficiencies of machinery.
• Managing of daily authorised labour compliment.
• Monitor and improve the efficiency of production activities and materials
• Responsible for walk the floor programs and coaching sessions.
• Maintaining and conducting discipline in this area of responsibility.
• Maintaining good manufacturing practice, hygiene & product quality.

 

The successful candidate must meet the following requirements:

• A Matric / relevant Tertiary Qualification will be an advantage.
• At least 5 years Poultry Processing experience.
• Willingness to work shifts and possession of a proven leadership record is essential.
• Good knowledge of Word & Excel will be an added advantage.
• Must be able to work under pressure.
