The ideal candidate would be responsible for:

• Maintaining the correct and approved staff complements on the relevant line;
• Maintaining discipline and ensuring that all positions are managed at all times;
• Performing all processing related duties, including the maintaining of quality, food hygiene, process flows, volumes and ensuring efficiencies are met;
• Assist during all Audits and ensure that all certification is maintained and even improved.
• Plan and execute all activities necessary to maintain the efficiency of the Food safety system in Production
• Get involved in the OHS day to day issues.
• Perform other duties as assigned;
• Maintaining and implementing 20keys principles and Health and Safety of the department.

The successful candidate must meet the following requirements:

• Matric;
• Candidate must either be in possession of a PME qualification or be prepared to obtain such a qualification;
• Experience in a high through-put production environment is essential;
• The person must be computer literate and be prepared to work shifts;
• The candidate should be hardworking, honest and self-motivated and willing to work overtime when necessary;
• Must be able to manage staff professionally, work independently and cope well under pressure.
