The ideal candidate would be responsible for:

• The safe operation of the Intake and bird handling systems;
• The maintenance of the above-mentioned machinery;
• Attending to minor breakdowns;
• Performing routing and scheduled maintenance on the listed equipment;
• The supervision of subordinate employees.

 

The successful candidate must meet the following requirements:

• Matric or N2 qualification;
• Being in possession of a trade certificate as an Artisan will be an added advantage;
• Must have own transport;
• Must be self-motivated and self-disciplined;
• Must be of sober habits;
• Must have a strong technical background with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in the Engineering field;
• Experience in the Food Processing Industry would be an advantage;
• Must be able to work overtime, shifts, weekends and public holidays.
