The ideal candidate would be responsible for:

• Preventative Maintenance (PM)_scheduling and planning;
• Accurate job card capture and closure;
• Management and verification of the Plant Asset Register;
• Responsible for labor recoveries;
• Plant shutdown planning & issuing of job cards;
• Weekend maintenance scheduling and planning;
• Supply auditors with the necessary maintenance related documents and schedules;
• Developing maintenance KPIs and ensuring targets are achieved;
• Assisting with Root Cause Analysis (RCA);
• Maintaining the Pragma Onkey CMMS;
• Manage the special maintenance program and budget;
• Plan machine refurbishments and costing;
• Work with engineering foreman to establish critical spares and stock levels;
• Work and communicate engineering plans with the production department;
• Action all audit reports and findings using Pragma system;
• Participate in the 20 Keys program.

The successful candidate must meet the following requirements:

• Matric or N3
• Be in possession of a Trade Test Certificate as a Fitter or Electrician or Millwright;
• Poultry abattoir maintenance experience 5 years
• Computer skills and good communication & administrations skills are essential;
• Must have the ability to work under pressure;
• Asset Management, Maintenance Planning and scheduling, creating of Work Orders will be an added advantage;
• Orders, Updating of monthly scorecard and feedback report;
