The ideal candidate would be responsible for:
- Ensuring Raw Material Stock, Macro’s and Micro’s, is at the required level at all times;
- Procure goods as required;
- Stock recons and verifications;
- GRV’s on Great Plains system;
- Liaising with Suppliers regarding Raw Material Issues;
- Following up on scheduled deliveries;
- Responsible for Macro and Micro month end stocktake;
- Ensuring FIFO of raw material stock;
- Adherence to ISO standards;
- Various daily/weekly/monthly reports;
- Communicate issues with Operations Manager.
The successful candidate must meet the following requirements:
- Matric of equivalent qualification;
- A Grade 12 Certificate;
- 2 years’ work experience in the Procurement Department with Raw Materials;
- A formal tertiary qualification in Procurement Management would be an added advantage;
- Able to work under pressure/deadlines;
- A personal and professional integrity are key requirements;
- 20 Keys knowledge;
- Converse fluently in both English and Afrikaans.
