The role of the Technical Advisor is to advise and support the Broiler Farm Managers, along with maintaining a good relationship with external and internal suppliers.

The ideal candidate would be responsible for:

• Broiler technical support to customers

• Customer liaison, and farm visits

• Manage customer’s production improvement plans

• Optimize the genetic potential of the Ross 308 bird

• Client management support

• Sales and marketing of DOC

• Achieving sales targets

• Preparing Customer Complaint Reports, and monthly credits

• Compiling sales reports and 7 day mortality data

The successful candidate must meet the following requirements:

• Must have a formal tertiary qualification

• 10 to 15 years’ experience in broiler management

• Computer literate

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills

• Able to communicate in IsiZulu will be an added advantage

• Passionate, performance driven, with a high degree of self-motivated

• A team player that is pro-active and able to work accurately and independently

• High level of personal and professional integrity

• Committed to service excellence and attention to detail

• A self-starter, with a friendly disposition

• Must have own transport and be willing to travel across the Province,
