Content Developer / Instructional Design / Learning and development specialist  Durban

Job Objectives:
• Evaluate current training materials and methods used
• Edit and update the existing content when necessary
• Developing interactive, practical, and innovative Training Interventions that meet the businesses’ standards and are in line with current best practice training methodologies and utilize all available Tools
• Devise modes of assessment, such as tests to measure the effectiveness of the course and marking memo’s.
• Work closely with Client groups and key account personnel to ensure that training materials for new product launches or processes are developed to the highest possible standards and utilize appropriate methodologies
• Communicate new content ideas to the training team to ensure they are aligned and produce the needed support material

Education and Experience Requirements:
• National Diploma: Learning and Development or relevant
• Minimum of 1 year experience in Instructional Designer or Content Development role in a BPO and or contact centre environment.
• Experience of the full training life cycle
• Ability to demonstrate clear understanding of Blended Learning Concept & Learning Principles

Job Knowledge and Skills Required:

Ability to develop, learning guides, workbooks, facilitator guides, PPT presentations, animated videos and general training related handout and activities

Ability to develop assessments that indicate a transfer of learning has taken place

Ability to research and deliver content that is relevant to the topic and the most recent content is delivered

Experience using Office 365 and content development tools essential
