Optimi is currently looking to hire an individual with a keen eye for talent to join the recruitment team as a Junior Talent Acquisition Consultant. This position is a 6-month fixed-term contract. The ideal candidate should be detail-orientated, deadline-driven and possess excellent communication skills. The primary role of this vacancy is to have the successful candidate assist the business with identifying great talent across the group for all our exciting vacancies.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Related degree or diploma.
  • 2-3 years experience in recruitment.
  • Exposure to various career portals (Pnet, LinkedIn, etc).
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
  • Biometrics certification would be advantageous (MIE)
  • Deadline-driven and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Fluent in English both written and verbal.

DUTIES

  • All administration regarding recruitment, from shortlisting candidates to doing background checks.
  • Coordination of all recruitment processes and procedures
  • Preparing PRs as soon as they are received.
  • Ensure all adverts have gone through copywriting and approval by the relevant manager.
  • Conducting value-added and pre-screening interviews.
  • Driving POPI Act compliance.
  • Ensuring a positive candidate experience
  • Ensure all necessary documentation is constantly updated.
  • Frequently updating social media reports.
  • Assisting the recruitment team with any recruitment-related tasks or projects.

The position is based in Centurion.
