Optimi is currently recruiting for a highly motivated temporary Financial Manager to join our team. The successful candidate must possess a strong drive for business growth and innovation, be an exceptional self-starter with high energy levels and have good people skills. This role presents an opportunity to work alongside a dynamic team in a fast-paced and high-growth environment, reporting to the Senior Financial Controller.
REQUIREMENTS
β’ Diploma or bachelorβs degree in finance.
β’ At least 5 years of relevant experience.
β’ Sage Evolution or similar ERP.
β’ Computer literacy.
DUTIES
β’ Manage the month-end process and cash flow at a divisional level.
β’ Review journal entries, intercompany reconciliations, etc.
β’ Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and tax calculations.
β’ Prepare presentation packs for MANCO and HOD.
β’ Sign off and approve payments.
β’ Ensure that all system descriptions are updated and available for review before the commencement of the interim audit.
β’ Ensure that all year-end reconciliations are available for review within the agreed timelines.
β’ Overall ownership of the divisional audit process.
β’ Ensure that all Tax and CIPC submissions are submitted on time and that all expenses are captured and accrued for in the correct period.
β’ Ensure that all members of the finance team are resourced, skilled and equipped to ensure high quality output.
β’ Develop and improve working relationships with business unit managers and heads as well as other key members of the finance team.
