Optimi is currently looking for a deadline-driven individual with exceptional time management and organisational skills to join the finance team as a Temporary Creditors Administrator. The ideal candidate should have an administrative background and strong planning, prioritisation, and multitasking qualities.

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • An administration-related qualification
  • Grade 12 with accounting.
  • 1 year relevant experience in a Creditor’s role.
  • Computer literacy: MS Suite.
  • Computer literacy: Pastel (advantageous).
  • Fluent in English (written and verbal).

 

DUTIES

  • Payments are to be made to suppliers within terms unless otherwise directed.
  • Provide accurate weekly cash flow forecasts for expected payments.
  • Process invoices with a 98% accuracy and within 2 business days of receiving the invoice.
  • Resolve queries raised by internal and external stakeholders within periods defined by the SLA.
  • Strive for overall improvement in stakeholder satisfaction scores (both internal and external).
  • Prepare creditors reconciliation with a low error rate of 3% and as defined by the SLA.
  • Calculate and post accruals on time and with a 98% accuracy.
  • Reversal of accruals in a timely manner.
  • Uphold the organisation’s values and foster a culture of open, timely communication, and effective teamwork.
