Yard Supervisor - Rundu Rundu

Job Summary:

As a Yard Supervisor, you will oversee the supervision of staff in the yard to ensure optimum efficiency of the operations function to maintain customer goodwill via quality service and timeous deliveries.

Key Responsibilities:

Effective supervision of yard staff to ensure optimum efficiency of the operations function.
PPI and monitoring receiving logistics to control stock losses.
Monitor delivery fleet and vehicle maintenance.
Maintain customer goodwill via quality service and timeous deliveries.
Responsible for effective dispatching of stock.

Educational Background and Experience:

Minimum Grade 11 (New Curriculum) or Grade 12 (NSSC-O) with 22 marks.
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Yard / Logistics position at supervisory level within the Building or Retail industry.
Possession of a valid Code B Drivers’ License.

Excellent knowledge of building products and stock management procedures.
Someone with ethical standards that can perform under pressure.
Good planning and organizing skills.
A result driven individual who is not afraid to get their hands dirty, in order to get the job done.
