Job Summary:

At Pupkewitz Megabuild, we believe in building more than just infrastructure – we build careers! Since launching our Graduates Programme in 2019, we have been shaping the future of young professionals by equipping them with hands-on experience and invaluable business insights. Now in its seventh year, this initiative continues to offer recent graduates a powerful stepping stone into the corporate world.

 

Programme Overview:  

Selected graduates embark on a six-month structured and immersive journey designed to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and real-world application. Interns gain exposure to various aspects of our business, including:

  • Receiving
  • Merchandising
  • Sales & Cashiering
  • Yard Operations
  • Fleet Management & Dispatching
  • Buying, Granning & Verifying

 

Graduates with specialised qualifications (e.g. Supply Chain Management) may be placed in roles aligned with their field of study. We also aim to uplift the communities we serve by placing interns in branches located in their hometowns, where possible. With 23 branches nationwide – including Builders Warehouse, SpecTiles and MegaBoards – our reach and impact continue to grow.

 

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Namibian citizens aged 25 years or younger
  • Qualifications aligned with our business needs are prioritised to ensure meaningful contribution and maximum value during the internship

 

Educational Background and Experience:

  • Must have completed Grade 11 (New Curriculum) or Grade 12 (NSSC-O) with 22 marks
  • No prior experience required – this programme is designed for recent graduates
  • Knowledge of retail operations and customer needs is an advantage
