Job Summary: The role ensures alignment with Namibian labour legislation and workplace policies, supports Affirmative Action initiatives, and contributes to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment in line with health and safety regulations. you’ll play a central role in maintaining a positive work culture while ensuring compliance and fairness across the board. Key Responsibilities: Provide proactive labour relations (LR) guidance and support to managers and employees. Ensure adherence to disciplinary and grievance procedures. Implement, maintain and review workplace policies and procedures. Manage union relationships and facilitate workplace forums. Support the implementation of Affirmative Action (AA) initiatives and compile annual reports. Monitor and report on key HR indicators in the IR atmosphere such trends, resolutions rates, and turnaround time to resolve cases. Represent the company at conciliation and arbitration hearings. Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety legislation, including Government SHE Regulations. Educational Background and Experience: Grade 12 and a tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Labour Relations, Industrial Psychology, BCom Law or related field. At least 2-3 years’ experience in IR. Strong knowledge of Namibian Labour Legislation and industrial relations processes. We are looking someone with: Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills. Minute-taking, administrative, and organisational ability. Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Fluency in English, Afrikaans and Oshivambo are advantageous. Motivated, ethical, team player with high emotional intelligence.
