Granning/Verifying Clerk - Gobabis  Gobabis

1. Main Function of the Role

The Granning/Verifying Clerk is responsible for ensuring the accurate processing of goods received, verifying documentation, and maintaining efficient record-keeping. The role supports operational integrity by ensuring proper alignment between delivery documents, invoices, prices, and quantities, while adhering to company policies and procedures.

 

2. Key Performance Areas

  • Batch invoices and enter data on the computer for payment and reconciliation.

  • Obtain the Supplier Invoice and/or Delivery Note from the Buyer in order to proceed with the unconfirmed gran.
  • Check Transport rate on waybill for correctness.
  • Put verifying stamp on invoice and fill in the stamp.
  • Insert data into computer to ensure payment to Supplier.
  • Relief Branch Administrator

 

3. Qualifications and Experience

  • Must have completed Grade 11 (New Curriculum) or Grade 12 (NSSC-O) with 22 marks.
  • 6 months experience in a similar position and industry.
  • Must be a fluent communicator in English.
  • Computer literate – knowledge of the “Kerridge” computer system will be an added advantage.
