Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst to join our procurement team. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and assisting with all data-related activities within the Netstock inventory optimization program, overseeing inventory and branch space optimization, and managing data analysis and stock range recommendations.

Key Responsibilities:


β€’ Data & Revenue Management: Analyze sales and financial data to identify growth opportunities and track performance against targets.
β€’ Inventory Management: Optimize stock levels, reduce excess and slow-moving inventory, and ensure accurate Netstock parameters.
β€’ Business Intelligence & Reporting: Develop and maintain dashboards, ensure data accuracy, and support automation for efficient reporting.
β€’ Market & Performance Analysis: Evaluate market trends, supplier performance, and logistics to improve competitiveness and profitability.
β€’ General Duties: Support stock takes, compliance, and cross-department collaboration to enhance decision-making and operational efficiency.

Educational Background and Experience:


β€’ Must have completed Grade 11 (New Curriculum) or Grade 12 (NSSC-O) with 22 marks.
β€’ Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistics, Commerce, or related field.
β€’ 3+ years’ experience in supply chain, retail inventory or procurement.
β€’ Strong proficiency in Excel and data visualisation tools (Power BI preferred).
β€’ Experience with ERP systems and inventory planning tools (Netstock advantageous, Kerridge advantageous).
