Job Summary:

The general worker will be responsible for off-loading of delivery trucks and vehicles. Packing and storing offloaded products in allocated areas. This role involves loading of trucks and vehicles, Packing of stock and Customer service and relations. The ideal candidate has good product knowledge and knowledge of receiving practices.

 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Always Assist the Board Cutter and edge boards as required.
• Assist customers with loading products in a professional manner with emphasis on Customer Satisfaction through Service Excellence.
• Pack of products offloaded in allocated areas to avoid any damage or accidents.
• Responsible for daily cleaning and basic preventative maintenance.
• Strictly adhere to all Health and Safety Regulations

 

Educational Background and Experience:

• Must have completed Grade 10.
• Minimum 1 year experience in a similar position.
• Must be a fluent communicator in English.
• Knowledge of Joinery would be an advantage.
