Job Summary:
A Shelf Packer is responsible for stocking and arranging products on store shelves in a neat, organised, and accessible manner. This role involves receiving deliveries, unpacking goods, checking for damages or discrepancies, and ensuring shelves are fully stocked and correctly labelled. Shelf Packers also assist with inventory counts, monitor product expiry dates, and maintain the cleanliness of the store or storage areas. The position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Label and pack new stock on shelves
• Check and maintain stock levels on shelves
• Advise Supervisor on all stock levels
• Assist customers where applicable
• Ensure accurate and timeous picking of stock
Educational Background and Experience:
- Must have completed Grade 11 (New Curriculum) or Grade 12 (NSSC-O) with 22 marks
- Minimum 6 months experience in a similar position in the retail industry
- Willing to work Retail Hours
- Fluent communicator in English
