Job Summary:

The general worker will be responsible for off-loading of delivery trucks and vehicles. Packing and storing offloaded products in allocated areas. This role involves loading of trucks and vehicles, Packing of stock and Customer service and relations. The ideal candidate has good product knowledge and knowledge of receiving practices.

 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Responsible for loading and off-loading of delivery trucks and vehicles in the yard
• Assist customers with locating, picking and loading of products in a professional manner with emphasis on Customer Satisfaction through Service Excellence
• Pack all offloaded products in allocated areas
• Ensure stock is safely packed to avoid any damages or accidents
• Keep the work environment clean and organize storage and loading areas
• Strictly adhere to all Health and Safety Regulations

 

Educational Background and Experience:

• Must have completed Grade 11 (New Curriculum) or Grade 12 (NSSC-O) with 22 marks
• Minimum 1 year experience in a similar position.
• Must be a fluent communicator in English.
• Product knowledge. Knowledge on receiving practices
