Salesperson (Key Customer) –Windhoek North  Windhoek

1. Main Function of the Role

To actively promote and drive sales by providing excellent customer service, ensuring product suitability, and offering sound advice to key customers. The role involves close coordination with operational staff regarding product availability and deliveries while contributing to profitability targets and customer satisfaction.

 

2. Key Performance Areas

  • Promote sales to ensure sales budgets and profitability targets are met or exceeded.
  • Provide expert product advice tailored to customer needs, across various trades.
  • Finalize quotes professionally and efficiently.
  • Deliver consistent, high-quality customer service.
  • Collaborate with operations teams on stock availability and delivery coordination.
  • Maintain knowledge of current product offerings and trends in the construction and retail industry.

 

3. Qualifications and Experience

  • Grade 11 (New Curriculum) or Grade 12 (NSSC-O) with a minimum of 22 points.
  • Minimum of 2 years' sales experience in the Retail or Building industry.
  • Experience in the Construction sector will be an added advantage.
  • Computer literacy is essential – familiarity with the Kerridge system is highly beneficial.
  • Must be willing to work Retail hours.
