Salesperson: Contractors, Windhoek Central Shop  Windhoek

1. Main Function of the Role

The Salesperson (Contractors) is responsible for promoting and selling products and services to building contractors, construction companies, and related clients. This role involves developing strong business relationships, understanding contractors’ needs, and providing tailored solutions to meet project requirements. The salesperson actively seeks new business opportunities, manages existing accounts, and ensures customer satisfaction through excellent service delivery.

 

2. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist customers with the aim of providing customer satisfaction through service excellence.
  • Sell related products to the customer, emphasis on add-on sales.
  • Prepare quotations as per customer request and needs.
  • Receive orders from Reps and assist with the execution thereof.
  • Ensure daily PPI counts are done, followed-up and executed.
  • Continuously inspect out of stock and low stock items and report immediately to Buyers.

 

3. Qualifications and Experience

  • Must have completed Grade 11 (New Curriculum) or Grade 12 (NSSC-O) with 22 marks.
  • Minimum 6 months experience in a similar position in the retail industry.
  • Willing to work Retail Hours.
  • Fluent communicator in English.
  • Numeracy & literacy, problem solving and personal interaction skills.
