Purpose of the role: The Chicken Business is currently recruiting for an Artisan Assistant in the Refrigeration team to be based at the Chicken Processing Plant in Worcester (Western Cape) and report to Plant Engineer. Required Qualifications: Minimum Grade 12 Required Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience in a refrigeration/maintenance environment. Required Knowledge and Skills: Good working knowledge of machinery. Good numeracy and literacy skills. Good verbal and written communication skills. Willingness to work shifts/overtime/standby as per operational requirements. Punctuality and Attendance reliability. Duties and Responsibilities: Perform routine maintenance in workshop. Diagnose and repair faults. Repair, adjust and replace failed or faulty components. Ensure work environment is always in a clean and neat condition. Adhering to health and safety regulations.
