Team Manager - SP Debt (Back Office)

We are currently looking for more amazing people to join the Sigma Family as a Team Manager on the Scottish Power Debt Campaign. Before we tell you more about this opportunity, let us share why you should join us at Sigma.

What Your Day-to-Day will Look Like:

📞  You’ll be working onsite and lead the members of Scottish Power Insights and Super user Team. You’ll be reporting into a Service Delivery Manager, and will be responsible to lead, guide, coach and support the team to achieve their targets. You will coach and develop your team to thoroughly unpack the customers situation to provide financial support. You will follow up on attendance and agree on set goals with team members. You will focus on career and skills development of team members.

You will deal with people related problems, such as absences and disciplinary matters. You will drive the achievement of targets by keeping your team members engaged and driven. You will manage staffing needs and productivity. You will manage employees by ensuring continuous communication, feedback, motivation and driving our Sigma values. You will deliver accurate reporting and ensure company policies and procedures are communicated to the team.

What Amazing People Will Bring to the Role:

🤩 You are a person with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. You are comfortable in maintaining effective working relationships at a management level, and have at least 12 months experience as an existing 2ic. You also have UK collections experience and have experience working on the Scottish Power Debt or Back Office campaign. You have passed probation, are meeting target on your KPIs and have a clear IR and attendance record. You are a natural leader and open to work rotational shifts, weekends and public holidays. Developing others is a passion of yours, and you are confident in how to develop individuals. If you believe the above sounds like you, you could be the perfect candidate!

Minimum Requirements

  • Must be available to work rotational shifts, weekends and public holidays
  • Expert skills in the use of Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel and Powerpoint
  • Effective communication skills (verbal, written and presentation)
  • Must have 12 months or more experience in collections or an existing 2ic role
  • Must be a current/existing SP Debt employee
  • Clear IR
  • Signed off probation
  • KPI's met for the last 6 months
