JOB TITLE

Client Talent Scout

ROLE PURPOSE

The Client Talent Scout is the first point of contact for all Advisor positions with the business. They are responsible for reviewing and screening all applications and organizing successful candidates into group assessment centres or interviews as well as administration. As a Client Talent Scout, you will be a key of the recruitment process to ensure all targets and deliverables are achieved.

**Kindly note that this position is a flexible resource between the Operation and Talent department

REQUIREMENTS

  • A minimum of 12 months experience within the Operational team as an Advisor 
  • Proven track record of delivering against high-volume productivity requirements
  • Clear criminal and credit background; in line with company requirements
  • Clear IR record
  • Successfully passed probation period

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Sift applications based on Client and Campaign specific requirements
  • Conduct telephone interviews with applicants and determine whether the candidate is suitable to progress to full interview and/or group assessment
  • Ensure that the Talent Specialist has enough appropriately skilled candidates booked in for interviews to deliver against Client and business requirements, this is achieved by delivering against targets set by line manager
  • Book in the pre-screened candidates for interviews with the Talent Specialist and Operational person involved
  • Ensure that all relevant people systems (ATS) are kept fully up to date as candidates progress through their candidate journey and understand that failure to do so impacts wider Onboarding activity and critical reporting requirements
  • Work together with the Talent Specialist and Hiring Manager, when requested, to contribute to the definition of candidate profiles based on previous success factors
  • Review candidates based on attitude, behavior and skill.
  • Focus on building and maintaining a strong talent pool that can meet the company’s future hiring needs
  • Consider and apply candidate criteria such as experience level, education level, work history, criminal record, and other factors that may disqualify an applicant from being considered for a position.
  • Assist in completing successful candidate administration to ensure candidates packs are ready for Onboarding 
  • Monitor the talent pipeline and highlight any reductions in applications, or risks to delivery as soon as identified to my line manager
  • Following client specific processes and procedures to ensure that the right outcome is reached in every interaction
  • Perform other duties as assigned by my line manager
