Role Purpose

The HR Administrator willΒ supportΒ the HR department in fostering a professional, compliant, and people-focused work environment aligned with Ceres Fruit Growers’ operational and organisational goals.

Qualifications

  • Completed N6 Diploma in Human Resource Management / Degree in Human Resource Management

Experience

  • 2 years relevant experience in a similar work environment (advantageous)
  • Basic understanding of Employment Legislation within the South African context
  • Valid driver’s license with own transport

Skills

  • Above average computer literacy
  • Fully bilingual in both English and Afrikaans (read, write and speak), proficiency in isiXhosa would be advantageous
  • Good planning and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and work under pressure
  • Approachable, with the ability to build good relationship with all stakeholdersΒ 

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as custodian of the HRIS Β 
  • Accept responsibility of HR administration, maintain accurate employee records
  • Provide administrative assistance in the on boarding and off boarding of all weekly paid employees
  • Super User of the Time & Attendance system and provide assistance to operational departments as required
  • Conduct all administration pertaining to Employee Benefits for Weekly paid employees
  • Maintain accurate record keeping of training records and provide assistance in annual submission of the WSP andΒ  the ATR
  • Liaise with service providers in implementing the annual training plan
  • Assist in recruitment of seasonal employeesΒ
