Role Purpose

Are you a compassionate and skilled Assistant Nurse looking for a fulfilling role in a dynamic company environment? CFG is seeking a dedicated Assistant Nurse to join our onsite clinic team. At CFG, we prioritise the health and well-being of our employees. As our Assistant Nurse, you’ll play a vital role in providing quality healthcare services, promoting a safe work environment, and supporting our workforce.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Registered with the South African Nursing Council
  • Proven experience as an Assistant Nurse, preferably in an occupational health or company clinic environment
  • Strong knowledge of first aid and emergency procedures
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team 

Responsibilties

  • Assist the Clinical Nurse and visiting doctor with medical examinations, treatment, and procedures 
  • Administer first aid and provide initial care for workplace injuries or illnesses
  • Maintain and manage clinic supplies and equipment, ensuring everything is well-stocked and in good working order
  • Conduct health screenings and vital sign measurements
  • Assist the Clinical nurse in the administration and reporting of IOD’s and Workmen Compensation Claims
  • Schedule patient appointments internally and with external medical practitioners
