Our client is seeking a Preschool Phase Teaching Assistant to join their team on a 3 month contract.
Responsibilities:
Support and assist the teacher in basic planning, assessment (verbal input), and implementation
Assist in providing health care to children with basic Health and Safety regulations
Assist the teacher in classroom management of resources
Assist with general administration and support when needed
Required qualification:
NQF 2 in ECD or related fields
Required experience:
Minimum experience: 3 years ECD, teaching experience
Knowledge: ECD education-theory and practical, whole child approach, ELDA’s, Principles and Aims
Professional registration or license requirements: SACE certificate (proof of application), NCF certificate, first aid certificate (updated every 2 years),
Computer literate
