Job Summary:
  • Job Title: Project Administrator for the Human Resource Development Council Secretariat (National Jet Skills Advisory Forum)
  • Duration of Contract: ends 31 December 2027
  • Location:  178 Francis Baard Street, Ndinaye House, Tshwane CBD
  • Salary: R 325 101.00 per Annum

Job Purpose and Description:

  • Provide administrative and logistical support to the Forum.
  • Coordinate Forum meetings: agendas, documentation, RSVPs.
  • Draft minutes and reports for meetings and workshops.
  • Maintain professional relationships with Forum members and stakeholders.
  • Manage records in line with audit and compliance standards.
  • Arrange venues, travel, and catering per HRDC policies.
  • Process travel claims and related financial documentation.
  • Support the Project Manager with general and ad hoc tasks.
  • Assist the HRDC Secretariat with administrative and operational duties.

Required Qualification and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or National Diploma in Project Management/Social Sciences/Natural Sciences/Engineering/Public Administration or an equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience in a project administrative role.
  • Experience preferably in public or private sector environments.
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license.

  • Experience in office administration, record-keeping, and event coordination.
  • Strong communication, organisational, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to pay attention to detail.
  • Effective time management and problem-solving abilities.
