The ideal candidate would be responsible for:

• Perform electrical and mechanical preventative maintenance on all plant equipment;

• Attend to electrical and mechanical breakdowns on plant equipment;

• Assist with new mechanical and electrical installation;

• Conduct inspections and complete reports as required;

• Complete root cause analysis on all breakdowns;

• Identify improvement opportunities;

• Participate in the 20 keys improvement system.

The successful candidate must meet the following requirements:

• Minimum N2 qualification;

• Be in possession of a trade certificate as a Millwright;

• Must be computer literate;

• Must be prepared to work weekends, shifts, and public holidays when necessary;

• Experience in the Food Processing Industry would be an added advantage;

• Experience on Poultry processing equipment will be an added advantage;

• Must have own reliable transport.
