1. Main Function of the Role

The General Restaurant Manager (RGM) is responsible for managing all day-to-day operations of the restaurant. This includes leading the team to deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring compliance with KFC’s systems, policies and procedures, driving a winning culture based on HWWT (How We Work Together) principles, and achieving sustainable sales and profitability growth.

2. Key Performance Areas

  • Operational Execution: Implement and manage KFC operational systems and procedures to maintain brand standards.
  • People Management: Lead, develop, and inspire the restaurant team to deliver high performance.
  • Customer Experience: Ensure consistent delivery of the KFC customer promise and manage customer feedback.
  • Sales & Profitability: Drive growth in sales and profitability through effective cost control and local marketing.
  • Compliance & Safety: Ensure the restaurant complies with legal, food safety, and health & safety regulations.
  • Team Culture: Foster a winning culture through teamwork and KFC’s HWWT principles.

3. Qualifications and Experience

  • Required Certification: RGM Academy Certification (Mandatory)
  • Proven leadership experience in a QSR (Quick Service Restaurant) or hospitality environment is an advantage.
  • Strong operational knowledge and understanding of restaurant systems and business drivers.
