1. Main Function of the Role

Safely transport and deliver products to customers while ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining vehicle safety, and complying with company procedures and road traffic regulations.

2. Key Performance Areas

Delivery Operations

• Deliver products safely, accurately, and on schedule.
• Load and unload products carefully to prevent damage.
• Verify delivery documentation and obtain proof of delivery where required.

Vehicle Maintenance

• Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Keep the assigned vehicle clean and roadworthy.
• Report vehicle defects, accidents, or maintenance requirements promptly.

Customer Service

• Provide courteous and professional service during all customer interactions.
• Respond to customer queries professionally and escalate concerns when necessary.
• Represent Baobab Lesotho positively at all delivery locations.

Compliance & Safety

• Comply with all road traffic laws and company safety procedures.
• Ensure the safe transportation and handling of products.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation.

3. Qualifications and Experience

Qualifications

• Valid Code A or AB Driver's Licence.

Experience

• 2 years' delivery driving experience will be an added advantage.

• Good knowledge of local routes and road safety regulations.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Good time management and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Physically fit and able to load and unload deliveries.
