PURPOSE
As a Forklift driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the Forklift and stock movement. You will load and offload stock within our organization, both in the yard and warehouse. Your role will involve ensuring the timely and accurate movement of stock and prioritizing safety at all times.
REQUIREMENTS
• Grade 12.
• One (1) year experience as a Forklift Driver, or similar role.
• Code B Drivers’ License will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge of safety procedures.
• Knowledge of Forklift maintenance.
KEY RESULT AREAS
• Daily Forklift maintenance.
• Loading and offloading of stock.
• Safe stacking of stock.
• Adhere to safety regulations.
• Maintain excellent customer service.
• Assist in the warehouse when not operating the F/L.
• Participate in bi-annual stock stocks.
PERSONAL
• Must have excellent communication skills.
• Must be able to take responsibility and accountability.
• Must be flexible and energetic.
