PURPOSE

As a Sales Consultant in Renewable Energy, your primary responsibility is to pro-actively and aggressively market and sell the company’s renewable energy product range, consult, and offer sound advice to customers, provide exceptional levels of customer service by exceeding all expectations and commitments thereby enabling the company to grow in sales and profits.

REQUIREMENTS

• Grade 12.

• Code B Driver’s license.

• Trade Diploma in Engineering or equivalent.

• Two (2) years in designing or installing experience will serve as an added advantage.

• One (1) year experience in sales environments preferably in solar will be an added advantage.

• Knowledge of solar systems and products.

• Low & medium voltage electrification.

• Stock logistics management.

• Ability to design and trouble shoot solar systems.

KEY RESULT AREAS

• Identify and qualify new business opportunities.

• Develop and maintain a pipeline of potential clients (residential, commercial, or industrial).

• Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.

• Prepare professional and competitive quotations & invoices.

• Maintain long-term relationships with clients to encourage referrals and repeat business.

• Stay informed about competitor offerings and industry innovations.

• Provide feedback from clients to improve service and offerings.

• Continuously update knowledge on renewable energy products and services.

PERSONAL

• Must have excellent communication skills.

• Accuracy and attention to detail is a MUST.

• Must be energetic and agile.

• In our fast-paced environment, the candidate must be a highly motivated self-starter, being able to work in a team and individually with the right integrity.
