PURPOSE OF POSITION

To effectively manage the overall branch to achieve objectives including budget and targets for new & used vehicles sales and profits generated, while maintaining customer centricity through the principle of customer satisfaction through service excellence.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

  • Develop and execute a business plan to achieve monthly and annual forecasts for used sales department.
  • Planning and developing short and long-term goals and objectives  and submitting time projections to management for approval.
  • Hire, mentor and monitor the performance of sales  department.
  • Assist in developing marketing plans.
  • Paying close attention to daily operations, recommending and creating improved courses of action where necessary.
  • Providing dealership management with weekly reports on the financial health of the dealership.
  • Vehicles evaluations & approvals

CANDIDATE PROFILE:

  • Namibian Citizenship
  • Valid Vehicle Drivers License
  • Fluent in English – 2rd language will be an advantage
  • At least 3-5 years’ experience as a manager, preferably in Motor/Retail industry, but not a prerequisite
  • A tertiary qualification will be an added advantage
  • Must have a flair for sales and customer service
  • Must have “hands-on” approach to achieve results
  • Sound communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good administrative and management skills
  • Team player with outstanding leadership skills
  • Highly competent and self-motivated person
