1. Main Function of the Role
Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse operations, including receiving, picking, binning, dispatch, and deliveries, while leading and managing warehouse staff, overseeing high volumes of stock, ensuring accuracy and security, ensuring adherence to DPOK processes, warehouse safety, and internal controls, and administering and reporting on warehouse KPIs to support effective warehouse operations at Pupkewitz Toyota Windhoek.
2. Key Performance Areas
- Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse operations: receiving, picking, binning, dispatch, and deliveries
- Lead and manage a team of 10 warehouse staff, ensuring accountability and performance
- Oversee high volume of stock, ensuring accuracy and security
- Troubleshoot and resolve stock discrepancies or variances promptly
- Coordinate with all stakeholders
- Administer and report on warehouse KPIs, including inventory accuracy and order turnaround
- Ensure adherence to DPOK processes, warehouse safety, and internal controls
- Monitor urgent and aged stock to minimize obsolescence
- Compile and submit daily, weekly, and monthly warehouse reports
3. Qualifications and Experience
- Grade 12
- Namibian Citizenship
- Valid driver’s license
- 3–5 years warehouse supervisory experience
- Strong stock management, investigation, and analytical skills
- Sound computer literacy (MS Office)
- V10 knowledge will be an advantage
- DPOK knowledge will be an advantage
