ROLE PURPOSE:
The Finance Manager is accountable for managing and controlling the financial operations of the dealership, including financial planning, reporting, budgeting, compliance, and internal controls. The role supports executive management by providing accurate financial information for decision-making, safeguarding company assets, and ensuring profitability and regulatory compliance within the automotive retail environment.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
β’Managing the entire accounting process up to the financial statements.
β’Managing risk and governance.
β’Drive operational efficiency.
β’Assist management with financial analysis.
β’Managing the financial aspects of inventory purchases, credit management, capital expenditure, operational and administrative expenditure.
β’Preparing the annual budget as part of the yearly business plan.
β’Preparing monthly management reports.
β’Managing, motivating, mentoring, and training the accounting staff to achieve full productivity and efficiency.

CANDIDATE PROFILE:
β’Namibian Citizenship
β’At least 3 yearsβ experience as a manager, preferably in Motor/Retail industry, but not a prerequisite
β’An acceptable accounting qualification with a sound track record in accounting and financial management.
β’Be a leader and team builder with sound communication and interpersonal skills.
β’Have a positive βhands-onβ approach to getting results.
β’Have a sound systems approach to administration and controls and be computer literate.
