Purpose of the position:

To implement and coordinate the RFA’s marketing activities by managing promotional materials and corporate branding assets, supporting exhibitions, campaigns and corporate events, maintaining brand visibility across platforms, and ensuring the consistent and correct application of the RFA’s corporate identity in all marketing, media, and stakeholder engagement initiatives.

 

Key performance areas:

1.Marketing and Campaign Coordination

  • Implement approved marketing plans and campaigns
  • Coordinate campaign logistics, schedules, and internal resources
  • Assist in the development and distribution of promotional materials
  • Provide input on campaign effectiveness and improvements and opportunities for process improvement

2. Digital and Marketing Platform Management

  • Ensure consistent application of corporate identity guidelines
  • Monitor correct use of logos and branding elements
  • Support internal awareness of branding standards
  • Report deviations from the Corporate Identity (CI) Manual

3. Brand Management and Corporate Identity

4. Promotional Materials and Stock Management

  • Maintain stock of promotional items and branded materials
  • Coordinate distribution across RFA offices
  • Track inventory levels and initiate procurement where required

5. Event, Exhibitions and Public Engagement

  • Coordinate branding and marketing logistics for events and exhibitions
  • Ensure availability of promotional materials and marketing collateral
  • Liaise with service providers and internal stakeholders
  • Prepare post-event reports and feedback

6. Stakeholder and Marketing Engagement Support

  • Support stakeholder engagement initiatives
  • Coordinate marketing collaboration with partners and service providers
  • Support internal marketing campaigns and cross-functional initiatives

 

Qualification Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field. (NQF Level 7)

 

Experience and special knowledge requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a marketing or communications role, preferably in a public sector or regulated environment.
  • Valid Driver’s License.
